Emergency Services

Northampton Community College's Emergency Services program provide graduates with the chance to make a positive impact on their community. With four different associate degree options available, you can specialize in the area that best suits your interests. Each program takes only two years to complete and are offered at our Bethlehem Campus as well as online.

Earning an emergency response degree will train you to respond to a natural disaster, public health threat, or other emergency situation. Emergency Services and the quality of care provided at the scene of an accident or disaster has seen tremendous change in the past several decades. Advancements in technologies and medicine have dramatically improved how first responders can help critically ill or injured patients in the pre-hospital setting. As a result of these changes, earning a degree is more important than ever. Northampton professors teach students how to become safe and successful first responders.
