Explore all aspects of theatre: acting, directing, design, technical skills and theatre education. You’ll integrate your classroom learning in practical settings from pre-production through theatre performance. Our associate degree in theatre is designed to parallel the courses and experiences you’d find in the first two years of a theatre BA degree, meaning if you choose to transfer to a four-year institution, you’ll be well positioned to thrive.

 

Program Information

Here, you’ll gain real-world experience on stage, in the wings and from the audience. You’ll join major NCC productions in our newly renovated 350-seat Lipkin Theatre and the 100-seat Norman R. Roberts Lab Theatre; venture to professional theatres in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia; and put your creativity to the test through touring, ensembles and experimental theatre productions.

Our expert faculty bring diverse experience in acting, directing, design, performance, speech communications, oral interpretation, education and children’s theatre. Through classes, workshops and mentoring, these leaders will equip you to create a capstone production that helps build your portfolio and prepare for your career.
