This program provides basic preparation leading to communication-related careers in organizations and corporations dealing with media, education, business, public service, tourism, journalism, public relations, politics, broadcasting and sales.
According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics (bls.gov), employment in communications-related fields (media, broadcasting) is expected to grow 10 percent by 2020, about as fast as the average for all occupations.
