Global Studies

Northampton Community College’s Global Studies program is perfect for students who love traveling and exploring the world and its many cultures. Earning an associate degree in this area provides students with knowledge of politics, economics, ecology, health issues, and entertainment across global boundaries. World travel is also built into this program, and Global Studies majors have visited any countries, including Denmark, China, Costa Rica, Egypt, Jordan, and El Salvador.

Our program combines in-class learning with vast study abroad opportunities. While you're having exciting adventures studying abroad, you'll also be earning a liberal arts education focused on international relations, with your choice of cultural experiences and languages. Unable to travel? A six-week experiential program with local organizations that have a global reach is also an option.
