Exploratory Studies
At NCC, we understand that sometimes it takes time to figure out your future plans. If you’re still deciding what program or career path you want to pursue, let our team of experts help you explore your options while honing in on your talents, skills and interests to discover what subjects suit you best. As you work through your decision, you’ll build a strong portfolio of coursework and hands-on experience while enhancing your critical thinking and flexibility skills. Whether you plan to enter the workforce after graduation, transfer into one of our other AA or AS programs or to a bachelor’s program at a 4-year school, we’ll work with you to make sure you’re on track and prepared for future success.
Exploratory Studies Programs
We'll provide you with a well-rounded selection of studies in social, cultural, behavioral, scientific and computer-related subjects. Upon completion, you will be prepared to transfer to a four-year institution to complete a bachelor's degree in the major of your choice.
Our Exploratory Studies program is specifically designed so that you can transfer your credits to a four-year college or university. Schools that are a part of the Pennsylvania state college and university system will accept all of your credits; however, if you wish to attend another school, we suggest you choose elective courses that are transferable to the institution of your choice. We encourage you to work closely with your academic advisor, as well as the transfer advisor in the Office of Academic Advising, to ensure your greatest opportunity for a smooth and successful transition to a four-year institution.
